- Tap on the print button to print your document. The control center automatically connects the computer to a USB printer and will print the document.
- In case, the other computer is already connected to the Canon Printer, your action will get into the queue where you have to wait for the document to be printed.
- If the document doesn’t print, check the Control Center to check the Printer status.
- Now, click on the Disconnect button that will release the printer from your authority so that the nearby device on the network could use it.
- As soon as you click on the Disconnect button, the status of your Canon Printer gets changed to “Available”.
- The available status of your printer will show that any computer within the network could use the printer,
- To exit from the utility, select the System click on the Exit button.
Here are some things that the user needs to be aware of before printing a PDF file.
- While printing a PDF file the user can only print 100 pages at a time. In case, if a user tries to print more than 100 pages, the pages above the 100th one will be neglected from printing. A dialogue box will also appear on the desktop notifying you about the exceeded amount of pages. If you tap on the Continue button and then on Ok the pages will start printing. If you necessarily need to print more than the 100 PDF page then you need to give the command of it from the desktop.
- If the document that you would like to print from Canon Printer is in landscape format, it will get rotated by 90 degrees and will be printed after it.
- If the document you would like to print is larger than the size specified on the Canon Printer, the document will automatically reduce its size. It will remove thin lines from the documents and the images within the documents may be misaligned.
How to Print a PDF file through Canon Printer after scanning it on your computer?
PDF files after being scanned by the computer could be printed using the Operation Panel of the printer or using Navigator EX from the USB storage device attached to your device.
- Make sure that your Canon Printer drivers is attached to a Power Circuit and is turned on.
- Load an A4 sheet or a plain paper in the Cassette.
- Now, select a PDF document type of Print through your Home screen
- Insert the USB storage device into the USB slot. It could be the memory card or the flash drive.
- The list of the documents will get displayed on the screen.
- Note: It is usually recommended that you must choose that PDF file which is printable. When the list of the documents gets displayed, touching the function button will display the details on your screen. - Select the document you would like to print, select the Page size, type, and quality.
- Use the upper symbol as well as the lower symbol button to select the document to be printed on the view list. You also can use the left and right symbol buttons to select the desired document to be printed according to the preview.

- PDF files that are made using the MP Navigator with the PDF compression should be set to Standard or High through the PDF settings.
